The export of bath brooms was established by farmers of Udmurtia

HEAD of Udmurtia Alexander Brechalov got acquainted with this unique small agricultural enterprise exporting bath brooms. According to the results of the first half of 2021, the rural entrepreneur already has a contract for 55 thousand euros with a company from Finland, as well as 111 thousand sold brooms worth 17 million rubles.

The case was organized by Ivan Chernyshov, a resident of the village of Krasnogorskoe. He began collecting and harvesting brooms back in 2014, in order to get on a strong footing, he organized the Dubberai enterprise. Today, the rural entrepreneur builds his business on the sale of brooms, bath sets and accessories, as well as herbal drinks. The staff employs seven people, in the summer it expands with seasonal workers.

“We buy branches of birch, oak, eucalyptus, maple, linden, fir, juniper, except for the Krasnogorsk region, in other rural areas of Udmurtia and in neighboring regions. Brooms with the addition of various medicinal herbs from our meadows are in great demand,” Ivan Chernyshov shared before the distinguished guest.

Products are sent to 72 regions of RUSSIA and abroad. This is an indispensable bath attribute for residents of Kazakhstan, Cyprus, Israel, Taiwan, the usa and England. Largely due to the fact that Dubberai became a participant in the very first stream of the Made in Udmurtia EXPORT accelerator for manufacturers of consumer goods (FMCG). It was recognized as one of the best exporters in 2020 in the nomination "Exporter of the Year in the Agroindustrial Complex among Small and Medium Businesses".

Now Dubberai is actively promoting its products on electronic platforms, and is now being trained to work on Amazon. It is also important that Ivan supports social projects - many sports and cultural events in the region are held with his sponsorship.

“An excellent example is when a small enterprise from the Russian outback is engaged in export, selling its products on marketplaces. For our part, we provide comprehensive support for such entrepreneurs. In early August, we launched an educational program for working on electronic platforms - 500 businessmen and individuals are learning the basics of online sales, ”said Alexander Brechalov, Head of Udmurtia.
