Today we have the first video from Kyrgyzstan and we will talk with a wonderful person - a true patriot of his homeland Manas Parmanovch Samatov
Manas Parmanovich is a farmer, public figure, consultant on innovative agricultural production projects. A great connoisseur of the agricultural industry, a very competent specialist.
We are looking at an ideal apple orchard for a small farm run by the middle brother of Manas Parmanovch - Zulpukar Samatov and his son Iskander.
The garden is located near the village of Zhany-Korgon, Kadamzhai district, Batken region of the Kyrgyz Republic, at an altitude of more than 2000 meters and has an area of only three hectares.
The entire territory of the garden is fenced with a mesh fence from hares, rodents and livestock.
Cereals, industrial crops, and vegetables were traditionally grown in this place.
And this modern garden is laid out here specifically to show the locals that you can get more income from the same areas.
This is an intensive apple orchard on a semi-dwarf rootstock (MM-106). The main variety is Red Chief, which can be translated from English as "the leader of the redskins." This is a fairly old (over a hundred years old), American variety, originally from West Virginia.
As a pollinator (every tenth tree) variety Golden Rangers is used.
Drip irrigation is used in the garden. The pipe is located on the ground, at a distance of about 60 centimeters from the trunk of an apple tree.
Initially, water comes from glaciers in the mountains and enters the canal (ditch). From the channel, the hearth enters the storage pond through an underground pipe system.
From the pond, through the water treatment system, water is supplied for irrigation.
The volume of water mini-storage is 150 cubic meters, this is enough for one watering of the garden (8 hours)
No chemicals are used to control weeds, only mechanical weeding.
Pristvolny circles are processed by a walk-behind tractor, and aisles are processed by a tractor with a rotator - a soil cutter. The garden is perfectly planned, everything is strictly according to the ruler and ideally processed.
I didn't notice a single weed.
