The Governor of the Tambov region paid a working visit to the leading farms of the region

The products of Tambov farmers are of high quality and are the real wealth of the black earth region. The head of the region, Maxim Egorov, shared this recognition following the results of a working trip to the Petrovsky district, where he got acquainted with the work of two leading farms in the region - JSC "Dubovoye" and LLC "Izberdey".

Gardens in "Dubovoe" occupy more than 850 hectares. Currants, strawberries and cherries are grown here. However, a special reason for pride is local apples, which have long been in demand not only in the Tambov region, but also far beyond the borders of our region.

Complete order reigns in the apple orchard. Each tree is prepared to survive the cold and delight next year with juicy, fragrant and sweet fruits. The apples of the current harvest are waiting for their time in the storage, equipped with the latest technology, it allows you to keep the freshness of the fruit for many months. Fruits here are in a special controlled gas environment, all processes are automated.
“I have never seen anything like this: how carefully products are stored, what advanced technologies are used. It’s very cool,” shared Maxim Egorov.

Izberdey LLC is one of the largest agricultural producers in the region. The company specializes in the cultivation of grain crops, sunflower and sugar beets. In addition, it has a one-time grain storage capacity at the Izberdeevsky elevator of 140,000 tons.

The head of the region completed his trip to the Petrovsky district with a meeting with local residents, during which he spoke about the ongoing state programs and national projects in the region. Maxim Egorov emphasized the industriousness of local residents and promised to support the further development of the territory. He also thanked the teacher of the Izberdeevskaya school Elena Kuprikova, who became the laureate of the All-Russian competition "Teacher of Russian Health", for her success in her professional activities.
