Governor of the Kaluga Region Vladislav Shapsha took part in the review of equipment readiness for spring field work in 2022

On April 13, the regional governor Vladislav Shapsha took part in a review of equipment readiness for spring field work in 2022. The event was held at the site of the state enterprise "Kaluga Machine-Technological Station". it was also attended by the Minister of Agriculture of the region Leonid Gromov, the management and employees of MTS.
The HEAD of the region congratulated the Kaluga machine operators on the start of the spring sowing season.
According to him, now they are faced with the most important task - to feed people and ensure food security not only in the region, but also in the country. “We have all the possibilities for this: both equipment and such wonderful specialists as you. I know with what respect and gratitude for your work, cooperation, professionalism and dedication our agricultural producers treat you. Thank you. I wish you all success,” said Vladislav Shapsha.
Leonid Gromov turned to MTS employees: “The well-known Russian proverb “Spring day feeds the year” shows that we must, more than ever, be collected and show everything that we can in practice. Despite the difficult year 2021, the regional agro-industrial complex managed to demonstrate the dynamics of development. The President set the agrarians the task of ensuring this year the growth of agricultural production by at least three percent. We must achieve at least 10 percent growth.” The minister thanked the machine operators for their important work, and also expressed confidence that all the tasks assigned to them would be successfully completed.
During the event, Vladislav Shapsha inspected the production facilities of the station, agricultural machinery and repair shops. He positively assessed the activities of MTS in carrying out seasonal field work and providing mechanized services to agricultural enterprises in the region. Plans for the further development of the material and technical base of the station were discussed with the management of the enterprise.
At present, the equipment of Kaluga MTS is 100% ready for the spring sowing season. In 2021, 71 farms used its services, including 14 peasant farms in 19 districts of the region. In 2020-2021, 34 units of high-performance energy-intensive agricultural machinery and equipment were purchased. MTS employs 106 people.
On the right of economic management, the state enterprise "Kaluga MTS" owns more than 280 units of various agricultural equipment, including 54 tractors, 24 combines, 20 plows, 12 disc harrows and cultivators, 10 trucks, five tankers, 15 units of special vehicles, four self-propelled mowers , seven units of equipment designed to put land into agricultural circulation.
