Grant support will allow farmers in the Ivanovo region to develop family farms and improve the material and technical base

The Department of Agriculture and Food of the Ivanovo Region summed up the results of the competitive selection among farmers for grants for the development of family farms. An agricultural consumer cooperative has also been identified to provide a grant for the development of the material and technical base.
According to Denis Cherkesov, DIRECTOR of the department, five farmers and one agricultural consumer cooperative will receive grant support. During the implementation of the projects, at least 17 jobs will be created. Farmers will use grants to implement projects for growing berry crops, breeding beef and dairy cattle, goats and sheep, and with the help of the grant, the cooperative will develop the processing of rapeseed seeds.
At the expense of attracted funds, it is planned to build and modernize livestock buildings, purchase agricultural machinery, equipment and farm animals.
This year, 31 million rubles have been allocated for the provision of grants for the development of family farms, and 7.5 million rubles for grants to agricultural consumer cooperatives.
Recall that at the end of March this year, a competitive selection of Agrostartup grant recipients was held, as a result of which 20 beginning farmers will receive financial assistance in the amount of 36.1 million rubles.
It should be noted that in total, 103.7 million rubles are provided to support farmers and agricultural cooperation in the Ivanovo region this year, of which 80.2 million rubles have already been distributed to recipients and will be brought in late April - early May. The remaining 23.5 million rubles are funds for the provision of subsidies to cooperatives for reimbursement of costs for the purchase of machinery, equipment and products from members of the cooperative, which will be brought to the recipients during the year, as well as funds for the provision of a new type of grant support - Agrotourism grants .
