The total amount of grant support provided to farms in Transbaikalia in 2023 increased by 40% over the year. This was announced by the HEAD of the regional Ministry of Agriculture Denis Bochkarev.
“In Transbaikalia, there is an annual increase in grant support provided to farms. This year alone, under the Agrostartup program and for the development of family farms, grants worth 230 million rubles were sent to peasants. A year ago, farmers in the region received 137 million rubles based on the results of competitive selection,” the minister said.
In the “Agrostartup” area, 70.6 million rubles were allocated to 21 agricultural producers from 11 regions of Transbaikalia this year. Also, the heads of 14 peasant (farm) households from nine municipalities became recipients of grants for the development of family farms; subsidies in the amount of 160 million rubles were transferred to them.
In addition, in 2023, a farm from Transbaikalia was provided with a new type of state support - the Agrotourism grant. The project “Agro-ethnic estate “Sagaan Ubgen” is being implemented in the Aginsky district, the funding volume is 10 million rubles.
