Three Tomsk farms will receive grants for the development of family farms

Farmers-grantees with the support of the budget will develop crop production and horse breeding.

An additional competitive selection for the provision of subsidies for the development of family farms was held in the regional department for the socio-economic development of the village. By decision of the commission, three farmers will receive grants totaling 48.2 million rubles.

One of the winners, a farming family from the Kozhevnikovsky district, grows grain, legumes and oilseeds on a total area of ​​650 hectares, keeping 400 hectares under fallow. The farm plans to increase the area under crops, renew the seed fund, purchase a modern ACROS-585 combine harvester and attachments for harvesting with the grant funds.

The second grant will be given to a family farm from Pervomaisky District, which breeds beef cattle: keeps 400 Herefords, is engaged in horse breeding (200 heads) and sheep breeding (100 heads). Farmers are going to increase the number of horses and sheep, as well as the sown area by 150 hectares, in order to increase the gross grain harvest by 2025 to 2440 tons. The grant funds will be used to purchase a combine, a tractor, a sowing complex and attachments.

Another winner of the competition, a peasant farm from the Krivosheinsky district, has been engaged in horse breeding for many years. With the help of the grant, the farm plans to purchase a harvester for harvesting fodder, increase the breeding stock - to bring the herd to 400 heads by 2026. In the future, the farmers intend to open an agro-tourism center at the horse breeding farm: to organize horseback riding, to establish the production of mare's MILK.
The business plans of all the winning contestants provide for the creation of new jobs and an increase in agricultural production by at least 10%. To the grant funds, the winners must attach their own or loan funds in the amount of 40% of the project cost.

In total, 165 million rubles will go to the development of family farms in the Tomsk region in 2021. Tomsk farmers received another 38.8 million rubles for the implementation of projects of the Agrostartup program.
