FGBI "ARRIAH" is the winner of the district stage of the All-Russian award "Exporter of the Year"

Since the first year of the All-Russian Award "Exporter of the Year", FGBI "ARRIAH" subordinated to ROSSELKHOZNADZOR has been its permanent participant. If earlier it was not possible to take a prize, then in 2021 in the nomination "Exporter of the Year in the field of agro-industrial complex" based on the results for 2020, FGBI "ARRIAH" was recognized as the winner among the subjects of the Central Federal District, beating the traditionally strongest competitors from the Moscow region.

FGBU "ARRIAH" is one of the leading exporters of the Vladimir region, supplying its products to numerous countries of the world. This indicates the demand for the institution's products abroad and, accordingly, its quality. Vaccines and test systems for animals are exported. FGBI ARRIAH, being a scientific center, also provides research and various testing services to foreign contractors.

The institution's EXPORT geography is striking. These are 38 states, where deliveries are made to more than 21 countries, and products are registered in 13 states. The center's products are supplied to the CIS countries, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia; Deliveries to Latin America are planned.

The availability of an exclusively export product adapted to the requirements of the South Korean market can also be considered a difference between FGBI ARRIAH. The FMD culture inactivated emulsion vaccine "ARRIAH-VAK" was developed to vaccinate pigs in the Republic of Korea.

FGBU "ARRIAH" is actively engaged in the promotion of products in foreign markets. This includes publications in foreign media, including foreign scientific publications (more than 20 publications in 2020), conducts an active advertising campaign in various countries (Egypt, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Iran, Pakistan, the Republic of Korea and others), participates in international exhibitions and international scientific conferences in RUSSIA and abroad (CIS countries, Africa, Europe, Asian countries and others), has many awards (for 2020 - 15 awards in the form of medals for development, research and product quality.

It is noteworthy that ARRIAH is the only manufacturer of the Karnivak-Cove vaccine against covid-19 for animals. To date, it has no analogues. Companies not only from the Russian Federation, but also from Germany, Greece, Poland, Austria, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, Lebanon, Iran, Argentina showed interest in the Russian vaccine Karnivak-Kov. About 20 organizations register and plan to supply the drug to their countries.

Such an active position of the center for promotion to foreign markets in the presence of a clear export strategy (an official document of the FGBI "ARRIAH"), allowed the institution to score the highest number of points among the participants from the Vladimir region and take first place in the Central Federal District, which automatically gives the enterprise the right to participate in final of the All-Russian Award, which will be held in early December 2021 as part of the Made in Russia international forum in Moscow.

At present, the FGBI "ARRIAH" is the country's leading research institution in the field of veterinary medicine with a wide range of scientific topics, a modern research and production base and a high international status, where unique opportunities have been created that allow research and implementation of new scientific developments based on modern data on the study of infectious agents, to carry out the production of highly effective diagnosticums and effective medicines for the prevention and control of animal diseases.

The World Organization for Animal HEALTH (OIE) awarded FGBI "ARRIAH" three international statuses: "OIE Regional Reference Laboratory for FMD" (1995), "OIE Collaborating Center for Diagnostics and Control of Animal Diseases for the countries of Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Transcaucasia (1997), OIE Regional Reference Laboratory for Highly Pathogenic, Low Pathogenic Avian Influenza and Newcastle Disease (2018). The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has officially designated the institution as "FAO Reference Center for FMD for Central Asia and Western Eurasia" (2013), "FAO Reference Center for FMD" (2020).

Today, the institution employs more than 800 highly qualified specialists, including 14 doctors of science and 121 candidates of science.

Based on the data of molecular biology and the basic biological properties of infectious agents, the Center develops means of prevention and methods for diagnosing, treating and combating infectious animal diseases.

Within the framework of international cooperation, FGBI “ARRIAH” takes part in joint programs in priority areas with scientific institutions and institutions of the CIS countries, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Finland, Poland, Mongolia, etc.

At present, FGBI "ARRIAH" sells more than 100 types of biological products for animals, including about 80 types of vaccines, about 35 types of diagnostic kits. Preparations are protected by 102 patents of the Russian Federation. The annual volume of vaccines produced is about 6 billion doses, up to 10 new drugs are registered annually. The production facilities of the institution comply with GMP and GLP standards (requirements for good manufacturing and laboratory practice), the production of biological products complies with international quality standards iso 9001-2015.

Laboratory scientists conduct diagnostic studies using both traditional and the most modern methods for studying antigens and the genome of pathogens. About 5,000 samples of pathological material and about 300,000 samples of blood sera are delivered to the enterprise annually for monitoring studies.
