Budimir Plavsich, HEAD of the Regional Representative Office of the World Organization for Animal HEALTH (OIE) for Europe in Moscow, in a letter to the Federal Center for Animal Health, subordinated to ROSSELKHOZNADZOR, expressed gratitude and deep appreciation for the translation of OIE international documents, and especially the OIE Guidelines for terrestrial and aquatic animals into Russian, prepared by the experts of the FGBU “ARRIAH”.
Budimir Plavsic noted the enormous and painstaking work done by the Rosselkhoznadzor and the FGBI "ARRIAH" to support the OIE. Russian translations of OIE standards are a good contribution to international cooperation and are of particular value to veterinarians in Russian-speaking countries. This achievement also emphasizes the role of the FGBI ARRIAH in the development of the region and the international status of the institute as an OIE Collaboration Center and an OIE Reference Laboratory.
