In Moscow, at the VDNKh venues, the Day of Agriculture was held as part of the Forum of National Achievements. The agro-industrial complex of the Krasnoyarsk Territory was represented at the international exhibition by farmers, chairmen of agricultural cooperatives, representatives of the Krasnoyarsk Agrarian University and the regional Ministry of Agriculture. Headed the delegationMinister of Agriculture of the region Ilya Vasiliev.
At the plenary session on the key achievements of agriculture, the Minister of Agriculture of RUSSIA Dmitry Patrushev spoke about large-scale changes in the industry over the past decades. This, in particular, is an almost twofold increase in agricultural production, an increase in EXPORT potential - our country is among the world leaders in the production and export of grain, an annual increase in financing for agricultural areas - from 18 billion rubles in 2000 to 558 billion in 2024 .
At the first All-Russian Farmers' Forum, the development of agricultural cooperation, product sales, and improvement of state support measures for small businesses were discussed.
“Over the last quarter of a century, the region’s agro-industrial complex has been developing dynamically. Thanks to the high culture of agriculture, the use of intensive technologies and a scientific approach to agricultural production, the region's farms achieve unique results in the cultivation of grains and oilseeds. Due to the implementation of investment projects and improvement of technologies in livestock farming, MILK productivity is increasing. Much attention in the region is paid to the development of self-employment in rural areas, improving the quality of life in the territories, strengthening farming and agricultural cooperation,” noted the region’s Minister of Agriculture Ilya Vasiliev.
The Agriculture Day program also included educational and entertainment parts – prize draws, concerts, and gastro festivals. At the regional stand, the Krasnoyarsk Territory demonstrated films and presentations about successes in agriculture, the food and processing industry, agricultural science and education, and measures to attract young people to the industry.
Schoolchildren took part in an interactive quiz about agriculture from the Krasnoyarsk Agrarian University. A nice bonus for the guys were small prizes - stationery and souvenirs.
