The Dagestan Selection Center and specialists from the Leningrad Region held advanced training courses for workers in breeding farms
From November 29 to December 6, on the basis of JSC "Kizlyaragrocomplex", advanced training courses were held under the additional professional program "Application of information technologies in livestock management and in selection and breeding work - IAS" SELEKS ".
The event was organized by the "Regional Information and Selection Center of the Republic of Dagestan NPF" Plemservis "in conjunction with the LLC" Center for Information Support of Pedigree Livestock Breeding of the Leningrad Region "Plinor". Livestock technicians and breeding specialists from the Chokh and Sogratl agricultural firms, as well as other large breeding farms of Dagestan, together with guests from the Samara region, took part in the training.
The use of digital technologies in animal husbandry makes it possible to effectively solve a set of production and management tasks, ranging from accounting for livestock, control of its movement and other current indicators, to veterinary preventive measures and optimization of breeding work. Course participants got the opportunity to get detailed information about the intricacies of working with information from the database, their processing based on mathematical analysis tools, saving the received analytical materials, and other issues related to the SELEKS information and analytical system.
