In order to study best practices in the organization of dairy cattle breeding, Sharip Sharipov, the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan, together with the HEAD of Kizlyar Uritsky MEAT Processing Plant LLC Nurudin Omarov, visited the Tambov Region, where they visited JSC Golytsino of the Nikiforovsky District - one of the modern and highly efficient dairy farms in the Russian Federation.
According to the head of JSC "Golytsino" Abdulkadyr Ramazanov, his farm was the first in the Tambov region to master a robotic system for milking cows. The project was implemented several years ago. Today, the farm has 8 robots, each of which serves 60 cows. This made it possible to significantly improve the quality of MILK and the organization of the process itself. Many of the difficulties encountered during ordinary milking are a thing of the past. Today they have more than 400 dairy cows on the farm. The average milk yield per cow exceeds 9 thousand liters of milk per year, according to this indicator, this enterprise is one of the best in our country as a whole. High productivity became possible thanks, first of all, to a clear organization of selection and breeding work, maintenance, feeding system, where up to 25 different components are used for feed.
According to Nurudin Omarov, the head of LLC Kizlyar Uritsky Meat Processing Plant, this year the company is launching a milk processing plant. In this regard, there was a need to expand the resource base.
“We are developing a project for 1,000 dairy cows, which will be implemented in stages. The first stage is a dairy farm for 250 cows. In this regard, we decided, taking into account the experience of such advanced sites as in the Tambov region, to use modern achievements, including in the field of milking. I was convinced that the use of modern technologies can significantly increase the productivity of dairy cattle breeding. We intend to work on this,” said the head of the Dagestan enterprise.
Commenting on what he saw, First Deputy Minister Sharip Sharipov noted that at a meeting of the Council for the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex under the Head of the Republic of Dagestan, which took place on March 5, the leadership of Dagestan set the task of taking additional measures to further develop dairy cattle breeding. According to this indicator, the republic has not yet fully covered its internal needs. In this regard, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan, with the involvement of leading farms, is working out a number of investment projects that will be implemented with the support of the republic.
“Dagestan is one of the leaders in RUSSIA in terms of milk production. We produce 950 thousand tons of milk annually, a significant part of which falls on private farms. Unfortunately, only a small part of the milk is processed. In the face of tougher competition and sanctions pressure, it becomes necessary to transfer the industry to a technological basis by identifying and supporting investment projects such as, in this case, Kizlyar Uritsky Meat Processing Plant LLC. We are establishing ties with the regions of our country where success has been achieved in certain areas of the agro-industrial complex. In particular, for the first time in the republic, a robotic system for milking cows will be introduced at this enterprise, which will give impetus to other farms to be more actively involved in the modernization of the agro-industrial complex.
