The Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan, Mukhtarbiy Adzhekov, summed up the participation of the Dagestan delegation at the All-Russian Field Day.
“The All-Russian Field Day has become not only an exhibition of the achievements of the domestic agricultural industry, but also an important platform for discussing and developing solutions to the industry's pressing problems.
My colleagues and I discussed the development of seed production, selection, the application of mineral fertilizers, the provision of agriculture with personnel and agricultural equipment, agricultural insurance , vegetable growing, veterinary medicine, and animal husbandry in general.
Separately, I would like to single out such a direction as the production of organic agricultural products, where Dagestan, without exaggeration, has a huge potential. Such productsespecially appreciated in the market, it can be supplied both to the markets of the regions of RUSSIA and for EXPORT . I am sure that it will be in demand within our republic as well. Given the natural and climatic conditions of Dagestan, "organic" can become another driver for the development of the region's agro-industrial complex.
Due to the circumstances, significant attention during the business program of the All-Russian Field Day was paid to land reclamation issues. The fact is that in Tatarstan there was a drought, which forced the local authoritiesintroduce a state of emergency throughout the country. Therefore, important issues of agricultural irrigation were raised once again. In this regard, the experience of Dagestan is noteworthy - over the past few years, more than 900 million rubles have been allocated from the regional budget for land reclamation, thanks to the support of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, about 500 projects in this area have been implemented in three years. This work is still going on.
The past large-scale event showed that, despite the sanctions pressure, the agro-industrial complex of Russia is developing dynamically. Each region contributes to ensuring the country's food security, and Dagestan plays a special role in this process,” the minister said.
The agrotechnological exhibition "All-Russian Field Day-2023" was held from July 6 to 9 in the Laishevsky district of Tatarstan. In addition to Mukhtarbiy Adzhekov, the Dagestan delegation included the chairman of the Veterinary Committee of the Republic of Dagestan Magomed Shapiev, the DIRECTOR of Dagmeliovodkhoz Zalkip Kurbanov and the general director of Dagagroleasing JSC Chamsutin Mutuev.
