Chuvash farmer exported rapeseed oil to China for the first time

“The products went abroad from the farm of Andrei Khoroshavin from the Tsivilsky district. This was a good contribution of Chuvashia to the implementation of the national project “International Cooperation and EXPORT,” said the Deputy Prime Minister,Minister of Agriculture of Chuvashia Sergei Artamonov.
The main activity of an agricultural producer is the cultivation and sale of grain crops. In 2023, the sown area here was 2830 hectares, of which 1000 hectares were rapeseed. From this area it was possible to collect 2.3 thousand tons of this crop.
The harvest is used not only for sale, but also for processing: “GOST” cold-pressed unrefined rapeseed oil is produced .
“Previously, we sold products only throughout the country, but in 2024 we will send the first batch of rapeseed oil to CHINA . There are 176 tons here,” Andrey Khoroshavin shared.
State support also allows increasing the production of farm goods. Over the past 3 years alone, with subsidies from the budget, the agricultural producer has purchased 7 units of agricultural equipment for a total amount of more than 50 million rubles.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture of Chuvashia Sergei Artamonov reported that the maximum number of state subsidies will remain for Chuvashia farmers in 2024. In particular, the republican program of technical modernization will continue to operate, according to which farmers, farmers, and the self-employed can return from 35-45% of the cost of purchasing special vehicles. The budget provides 526.7 million rubles for these purposes.
