Agricultural producers in the region received 559 million rubles of a single “united” subsidy and 310 million rubles for the production and sale of grain.
For the uninterrupted operation of the agro-industrial complex, by April 1, the region had to transfer 50% of the stipulated annual limit of the “pooled” subsidy to agricultural producers. This type of support is aimed at the development of priority sub-sectors of the agro-industrial complex and small businesses. Let us recall that for each subject of the Russian Federation eight areas are defined for which this subsidy is calculated. In the Lipetsk region, support will be given to carrying out agrotechnological work, increasing fertility, soil quality and the level of environmental safety of agricultural production, elite seed farming, livestock breeding, the development of small businesses and agricultural insurance, production of fruit and berry plantings, MILK production and processing. A total of 898 million rubles were allocated for these purposes from the federal and regional budgets. As of April 1, subsidies had already been received by farms involved in planting and caring for perennial plantings, milk producers and processors, as well as enterprises engaged in livestock breeding. They received 62% of the funds provided within the framework of a single “pooled” subsidy for this year. This is 414 million rubles from the federal budget and 145 million from the regional budget.
Also, the entire annual limit of funds provided for reimbursement of part of the costs of production and sale of grain crops has already been transferred to the accounts of farmers involved in growing grain crops. More than 310 million rubles were allocated for these purposes in the regional and federal budgets.
“More than 4 billion rubles have already been allocated in the federal and regional budgets for the development of our agro-industrial complex, including rural areas, this year,” said Alexey Telkov, HEAD of the Lipetsk Region Agriculture Department. – Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, speaking with a report to the State Duma, emphasized that support for the Russian agro-industrial complex not only continues, it increases every year. And it is growing both in the country as a whole and in our region. I am sure this figure will increase by the end of the year. Moreover, on behalf of the Government, this year we have accelerated the delivery of funds to our agricultural producers. It is important for us that they feel that the state is helping and supporting them.”
