
State support funds in the amount of 61.16 million rubles will be allocated to the heads of farms in the Trans-Baikal Territory who won the competitive selection for grants to family farms. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of the region Denis Bochkarev.
“The Regional Ministry of Agriculture has summed up the results of the competition, according to the results of which seven peasant (farming) households from Nerchinsk, Krasnokamensk, Aginsky, Ononsky, Chita and Mogoytuysky districts were recognized as winners. They will receive grant support in the amount of 2.7 to 30 million rubles for development. The funds received will allow farmers to implement projects in animal husbandry and crop production,” said the HEAD of the agricultural department.
He noted that grantees will be able to use subsidies for the construction of premises, the purchase of equipment and farm animals, and connection to the power grid.
“The duration of the grant is two years. During this period, the head of the farm is obliged to create at least three permanent jobs. In addition, the annual increase in the volume of agricultural products produced by the family farm must be at least 10% per year for five years after receiving state support,” Denis Bochkarev specified. 
 it should be noted that the Ministry of Agriculture of the Trans-Baikal Territory is currently also accepting documents for the Agrostartup competition. Applications are accepted until August 13th.
