At the "Cheese Rows" gastronomic festival, which took place last Saturday in Ivanovo, 26 cheesemakers from the Ivanovo, Vladimir, Kostroma, Moscow, Tula, and Yaroslavl regions, as well as the Republic of Tatarstan , presented their products .
From the Ivanovo region alone, 12 cheese producers participated. Among them were well-known farms and large enterprises from various regions: Puchezhsky Cheese Factory, Ankovskoye, Aleksandrovskoye, Sukhov's Living Farm , Sytaya Dusya, Gagarinykh Family Cheese Factory, Ecoproduct, Cheese Farm, Pavel Kabanov Cheese Factory, and others.
"The cheese festival has been a tradition in the region since 2018, and we try to hold it twice a year. "The next one is planned for August-September," said Sergei Bubnov, a member of the Ivanovo Region government and director of the regional department of agriculture and food.
In addition to cheeses, the event featured dairy products, honey, sausages and deli meats, confectionery, bread, tea, vegetable oil , sauces, plant and flower seedlings, and even the chance to sample the "Shuiskaya snail" prepared directly at the festival.
It's worth noting that in 2020 and 2021, the Cheese Festival was named the winner of the "Best Trade Festival" category at the "Trade of Russia" competition held by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
