PIONERPRODUKT.by continues to publish videos from the AgroExpedition to hospitable Armenia. In this video, we will see how berries and fruits are grown at the CHIRS HOUSE enterprise, how the greenhouses in which strawberries are grown are arranged, and also see the agrotourist complex.
The territory of only about 40 acres, where various buildings and the garden of the enterprise are located, used to be a dump. Enterprising owners had to make a lot of efforts to clear everything. During the clearing, ancient khachkar stones were found on the territory, which became a local landmark.
On the territory of the complex, various herbs are grown for their own use: lemon balm, basil and other spices. And also grows a large number of fruit trees.
Garden strawberries are grown in the greenhouse in two ways: on drip irrigation in beds and plastic pipes located at different levels, which are filled with soil, and not with a substrate, this allows for more rational use of the greenhouse space.
Only humus is used as fertilizer here, so the harvest is about 2 tons per season, which is quite a bit. However, they do not sell fresh berries here, but dried ones, in beautiful branded packaging. Therefore, the main supplies of these products do not go somewhere, but immediately to the UK, thereby significantly increasing the profitability of the economy.
The length of the greenhouse measures about fifty meters in length. The greenhouse is covered with a thick film made according to European environmental standards. The film is fastened to the frame with the help of a special wire, we have already met this method several times during our AgroExpeditions. The greenhouse has stove heating, which allows it to be used all year round.
After the third fruiting of strawberries, the bushes are removed into bags from under oyster mushrooms, where they rot into fertilizers, which are used later.
By the way, there is a special room on the territory equipped for growing oyster mushrooms with all the necessary infrastructure: water, a humidifier and ventilation.
Also on the territory there is a tandoor - this is a recess in the ground, lined with stone, where you can cook different dishes, ranging from flat cakes known to everyone, ending with barbecue. By the way, tourists can also use the tandoor, who are happy to do it.
For tourists, a beautiful bright dining room is equipped, the walls of which are painted with marvelous mountain landscapes of ancient Armenia. Tables are placed both indoors and outdoors. Here you can not only eat, but also organize a big holiday.
All tourists are accommodated under the shade of fruit trees in tourist tents taken from the farm, or they can put their own.
