The Governor of the Lipetsk Region, Igor Artamonov, in his annual report to the residents of the region, noted the work of the region's agro-industrial complex. Last year, Lipetsk farmers received the second grain harvest in the history of the region - 4 million tons, held the first place in the country in the production of greenhouse vegetables - they harvested 183.4 thousand tons, grew 800 thousand tons of oilseeds.
“The agro-industrial complex is one of the leading backbone sectors of the economy of the Lipetsk region. Our farmers successfully grow grain and oilseeds, SUGAR beets, potatoes , fruits, vegetables in open and protected ground, specialize in the production of MEAT, MILK, eggs. Lipetsk agricultural products are exported to 81 countries of the world,” said Igor Artamonov.
The governor also spoke about the development of the Aggregator project, which helps Lipetsk farmers enter the shelves of federal retail chains. it was launched in November 2022. Today, products from local farmers - fruits , vegetables, dairy products, sausages, deli meats - can be bought at the nearest supermarket. Now 24 manufacturers are participating in the project. Soon the recipients of the social contract will join him. The state will allocate 400,000 rubles to them for the development of their personal economy. The agroaggregator guarantees that it will buy the entire crop from them.
“Lip residents love the products of local producers. For example, when buyers see that potatoes are grown in the Zadonsk region, demand increases three times,” Igor Artamonov emphasized.
