This was discussed today at a meeting under the Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov, Deputy Governor Yulia Shchedrina, heads of agricultural enterprises and heads of municipalities took part.

To ensure the sustainable functioning of the agro-industrial complex of the Belgorod Region and minimize the negative impact of external economic factors, in accordance with the order of the Deputy Governor of the region, operational headquarters were created to stabilize the situation in key areas: agricultural machinery and equipment; spare parts for agricultural machinery and equipment; veterinary drugs; highly productive genetic material; plant protection products; selection, seed production; feed, feed additives; food industry; it security and industry software products. The mission of the headquarters is the operational collection of information about the availability and needs of agricultural producers in the region for resources for stable and continuous functioning (availability of machinery, equipment, spare parts, materials and other goods of foreign production); joint search with organizations of the agro-industrial complex of the region for analogues of manufacturers in the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as partner countries; joint development of optimal logistics routes with agricultural producers of the region, search for traders.
In addition, Yulia Shchedrina noted in her report that the conditions for providing preferential loans have been improved: the amount of subsidies for newly concluded preferential short-term loans is increased to 100% of the key rate of the Central Bank of RUSSIA. It also provides for the possibility of prolongation for one year of preferential short-term loans, the term for which expires in 2022. Separately, a ban was established on increasing the interest rate on loans provided to farmers. The preferential rate for agricultural producers remains unchanged - up to 5% per annum.
The emerging crisis situation in the economy, Yulia Shchedrina concluded, is a chance to find new points of development and dynamic growth. At the same time, it is necessary to maintain the full utilization of the production capacities of enterprises, the number of employees and the strict fulfillment of social obligations to them.
