Agrarians of the Rostov region harvested more than 13 million tons of grain

“Today, the grain harvest has already exceeded 13 million tons with an average yield of 41.4 centners per hectare, and this is significantly higher than last year,” said Viktor Goncharov, First Deputy Don Governor, today. - In a number of districts, mainly in the south and east of the region, the suffering is at its final stage. Seven districts are very close to the finish line, having already harvested from 98-99% of the area. Now field work is hindered in some places by periodic rainfall, so the Don farmers, taking advantage of every fine minute, make every effort to harvest in a timely manner.
