Specialists of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Khabarovsk Territory visited the enterprise for growing agricultural crops (PVSK) "Volkonskoye", where hay is in full swing: half of the planned volume for the current year - 1000 tons - has already been collected. A minimum of 50 tons is added per day - a shed has been built by the farm this year to store significant amounts of hay.
Next week, Volkonskoye PVSK plans to start harvesting early grain crops: barley, wheat and oats; the farm sowed 130 hectares with these crops. Feed is in demand among local farmers, almost everything can be sold already in the harvesting season.
The farm receives state support in the form of subsidies to reimburse the costs of fertilizers, agrochemicals, elite seed production and the purchase of equipment.
The company plans to increase production volumes and build its own livestock farm. Currently, work is underway to put into circulation an additional 90 hectares of agricultural land.
As noted in the regional Ministry of Agriculture, a third of the planned 12 thousand tons of roughage has already been prepared in the region. The final volumes will be enough to provide livestock farms in the region for the winter-stall period.
