Agrarians of the Voronezh region harvested more than 5 million tons of grain

As of August 22, 72% of grain and leguminous crops from the harvested area have been threshed in the region. The gross harvest exceeded 5 million tons in the initially recorded weight with a yield of 44 centners per hectare. The harvesting rate is 31 thousand hectares per day.
The highest yield is observed in Khokholsky (56.4 c/ha), Liskinsky (56.1 c/ha), Paninsky (55.7 c/ha), Ostrogozhsky (54.8 c/ha), Repevsky (52.4 c/ha). /ha), Bobrovsky (51.2 c/ha), Novousmansky (50.4 c/ha), Nizhnedevitsky (50 c/ha) districts. 765.4 thousand hectares (92% of the harvested area) of winter wheat, 58.3 thousand hectares (61%) of spring wheat, 13.6 thousand hectares (98%) of winter rye, 304 thousand hectares (92% ) barley, 19 thousand hectares (94%) peas.
The farms of Bogucharsky, Verkhnemamonsky, Olkhovatsky districts have already completed the harvesting of early grain crops. The agrarians of Borisoglebsky, Kantemirovsky, Liskinsky, Pavlovsky, Rossoshansky and Khokholsky districts are approaching the finish line.
The threshing of the leading regions of the harvesting campaign is impressive: more than 200 thousand tons were threshed by the grain growers of Kalacheevsky (262.7 thousand tons), Pavlovsky (242.1 thousand tons), Rossoshansky (241 thousand tons), Bogucharsky (227.4 thousand tons). tons), Anninsky (225.9 thousand tons), Paninsky (225.5 thousand tons), Kantemirovsky (224.7 thousand tons), Talovsky (210.7 thousand tons) districts. The farms of the region continue to prepare for the autumn field work. For the 2023 harvest, 155.6 thousand tons (88% of the need) of winter crop seeds were covered. 84.6 thousand tons (28% of the demand) of mineral fertilizers have been accumulated.
