Agrarians of the Tambov region treat agricultural fields with means of protection against weeds, pests and plant diseases

Care work for plants on the Tambov fields is in full swing. Agricultural producers treat winter crops with means of protection against weeds and plant diseases. About 400 thousand hectares of fields have been processed. This is reported by the Department of Agriculture of the Tambov region.
430 thousand hectares of spring grain crops were treated with weed preparations. Over 340 thousand hectares of winter and spring crops are protected from pests.
Tambov agrarians carry out the first, second and third processing of beet fields from weeds. In total, over 190 thousand hectares of agricultural crops have been processed. Weed protection is also carried out in sunflower fields. Such care works were carried out on more than 140 thousand hectares of sunflower.
The treatment of agricultural fields with means of protection against weeds, pests and plant diseases will continue as crops develop.
Hot weather has set in the Tambov region. Experts note that in such weather conditions, Tambov farmers will more actively use means of protection against insects and pests.
