Agrarians of the Saratov region crossed the equator of the grain harvest campaign

The harvest season in the region has crossed the equator.
According to the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the region - the Minister of Agriculture of the region Roman Kovalsky, to date, 1138 thousand hectares of grain and leguminous crops, or 51% of the plan, have been threshed. Gross harvest with an average yield of 32.5 q/ha amounted to 3 million 695 thousand tons. During the day, the grain growers harvested 194 thousand tons.
The flagship of the harvesting campaign is the Pugachevsky district, where the harvest amounted to 222 thousand tons.
More than 100 thousand tons were harvested in 13 districts of the region: Kalininsky (195 thousand tons), Balashovsky (188 thousand tons), tons, Engelssky (178 thousand tons), Yekaterinovsky (177 thousand tons), Krasnokutsky (165 thousand tons). tons), Samoilovsky (153 thousand tons), Perelyubsky (145 thousand tons), Ershovsky (140 thousand tons), Dergachevsky (131 thousand tons), Rtishchevsky (129 thousand tons), Arkadaksky (124 thousand tons), Romanovsky (109 thousand tons), Atkarsky (108 thousand tons).
In addition, according to the operational data of the regional Ministry of Agriculture on August 12, more than 22.1 thousand tons of potatoes were dug in the region and 45.2 thousand tons of vegetable products were harvested.
“Simultaneously with the harvesting, the farms are filling the seeds of winter crops, plowing the fallow and sowing winter crops. 154.3 thousand tons of seeds of winter crops have already been filled, which is 70% of the need for 221 thousand tons,” Roman Kovalsky specified.
