Agrarians of the Kursk region started spring sowing

The established fine days allowed the farmers of the region to start spring sowing. In 16 districts of the region, sowing of early spring grain crops - barley and wheat - is being carried out.
According to operational data, Bolshesoldatsky and Sudzhansky districts became the leaders of the spring sowing season. Here sown, respectively, 22 and 16% of the plan.
Also, the farms are completing the feeding of winter crops - cereals, rapeseed.
Work continues on the formation of material and technical reserves for spring sowing. Mineral fertilizers are being supplied to the bases of agricultural producers. Oil depots have a sufficient supply of fuel and lubricants for spring sowing. Agricultural machinery is fully ready for all stages of the spring sowing campaign.
In general, the entire sown area for this year's harvest will amount to 1 million 640 thousand hectares. Spring sowing in all categories of farms in the region will be carried out on an area of ​​about 1.3 million hectares.
