This year, about 51 million rubles are planned for regional farmers to reimburse the costs of purchasing equipment for digital farming. Farmers will receive support from the regional budget on the eve of the sowing campaign.
Leonid Shorokhov, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government - Minister of Agriculture and Trade: “Support has been operating in the region since last year to encourage agricultural producers to use elements of the precision farming system in agricultural production. The introduction of modern technologies is necessary to improve the quality of crops and protect the environment, reduce costs and increase the profitability of farms. Many regional agrarians follow technologies, our task is to support their undertakings and further development.”
Last year, 38 agricultural enterprises and farms from 22 districts of the region received 36.5 million rubles from the regional budget for the purchase of equipment for digital farming. 118 units of "smart" equipment were purchased, mainly parallel driving systems.
Initially, more than 12 million rubles were provided to compensate agricultural producers for up to 50% of the costs for the purchase of digital equipment. After a video message from the HEAD of the Dzerzhinsky enterprise "Agroles" Igor Ivanov to the Governor of the region Alexander Uss about increasing funding for this area, the amount of support was tripled.
To work on agricultural machinery equipped with high-tech equipment, qualified specialists are required. In agricultural technical schools and colleges of the region, the Krasnoyarsk Agrarian University, agricultural classes have been opened, where digital agricultural technologists are trained. Such work is organized most effectively in the Uyar Agricultural College.
In the region, 95 large and small farms use elements of the precision farming system for the production of agricultural products. The equipment for parallel driving, satellite monitoring of transport, differentiated spraying to control weeds and plant diseases is the most popular among farmers.
