
More than 216 thousand tons of open ground vegetables were collected by agricultural producers of all forms of ownership in Kabardino-Balkaria, such operational data was received from the agro-industrial complex management bodies of the municipal districts of the republic. Vegetables have been harvested from an area of 14.5 thousand hectares, which is 90% of the plan.
On average, 149 centners of vegetable products are obtained from one hectare of area. Productivity in comparison with the same date last year is higher by 3%.
Carrots and beets are being massively harvested, onions and various types of cabbage are also being harvested. The main part of these vegetables is part of the borscht set and goes for winter storage.
In addition, the harvesting of tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, eggplants is almost completed.
