In six months, Chuvash farmers implemented 13 investment projects and created 59 new jobs

The results of the implementation of investment projects in the agro-industrial complex for the first half of 2024 were discussed at a meeting in the Ministry of Agriculture of Chuvashia.
According to the results of January-June, agricultural producers of the republic completed the construction and modernization of 13 facilities, their total cost was 502.3 million rubles.
Two investment projects were implemented in Vurnarsky, Kozlovsky, Komsomolsky, and Tsivilsky districts. Thus, a grain storage facility designed for 1,000 tons was built in the Semenov I.V. farm, a slaughterhouse and a MEAT processing workshop with a production capacity of 12 tons per day were built in the Ak Tai cooperative.
JSC VDS built an incubator designed for 1.6 million eggs per year. The Kusnar agrofirm has acquired a calf barn for 150 heads and a dairy farm for 350 heads, and the Vostok cooperative has a summer camp for 300 calves. The Muraty agricultural cooperative has built a grain warehouse for 2,500 tons, and the Sanary agricultural firm has installed a line for sorting and cleaning grain seeds.
One more facility has been built in each of the Alikovsky, Kanashsky, Mariinsko-Posadsky, Yadrinsky and Yantikovsky districts. The Novy Put agricultural cooperative has built a dairy farm for 200 heads, the Aquaculture Marposad company has opened a fish production facility, and the Chuteevsky cooperative has opened a MILK processing and cheese production facility. A grain warehouse for 200 tons was built at the collective farm "OPKh "Leninskaya Iskra", and a similar facility with a capacity of 1,500 tons was reconstructed at "Kanash-Agro".
Thanks to the facilities built in the first half of 2024, 59 jobs were created in the agro-industrial complex of Chuvashia.
Earlier, the Deputy Prime Minister,Minister of Agriculture of Chuvashia Sergey Artamonov reported that in total, 106 investment projects worth 5.2 billion rubles are planned to be implemented in the agro-industrial complex during the year, and 408 jobs are to be created.
"83 projects are planned in the field of agriculture. According to them, poultry houses, livestock complexes , feed shops and grain dryers will be built. In the field of product processing - another 23 projects: for the acquisition of new technological lines for meat and dairy products, drinks," the HEAD of the Ministry of Agriculture of Chuvashia noted.
