Bashkortostan farmers shipped 42 tons of pearl barley to Vietnam for the first time

In Bashkortostan, within the framework of the national project “International Cooperation and Export”, the regional project “Export of Agricultural Products of the Republic of Belarus” is being implemented. The main goal of the project is to increase the EXPORT of agricultural products.
Recently, a batch of pearl barley left the republic for export for the first time. 42 tons of pearl barley were shipped to Vietnam by one of the enterprises in the Miyakinsky district of Bashkortostan.
Samples of regulated products were tested at the Bashkir testing laboratory of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "ARRIAH", noted the Office of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR for the Republic of Bashkortostan. The studied products comply with the quarantine phytosanitary requirements of the importing country.
Pearl barley is barley grains processed in a special way. This year, the farmers of Bashkortostan collected more than 850 thousand. This is the second largest indicator by volume among spring grain crops after wheat. The resulting barley harvest will not only provide the domestic market, but also supply grain to other regions and abroad.
