80% of winter crops in the Tambov region are in good condition

According to the branch of Rosselkhoztsentr in the Tambov region, survey results show that 80% of winter crops in the fields of the region are in good condition.
According to the Tambov Center for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, in January the conditions for overwintering of winter crops were satisfactory.
Recall that, for the harvest of 2023, the farmers of the region have sown more than 380 thousand hectares of winter crops. The main share of them is occupied by winter wheat - 375 thousand hectares. Winter rye has been sown on an area of ​​3,000 hectares, and winter rapeseed has been sown on another 3,500 hectares.
In the region, monitoring of the state of winter crops is carried out on a regular basis.
Experts note that the conditions for overwintering crops this year were mostly satisfactory.
The main adverse factor is the unstable temperature regime of the weather.
