The “First Forum of Dairy Industry Leaders” was held in Moscow, within the framework of which the XV Congress of the National Union of MILK Producers took place. Deputy Governor of the Lipetsk Region Igor Kremnev took part in the event.
The meeting of representatives of the dairy business and government was traditionally devoted to summing up the results of the year, discussing EXPORT opportunities and investment potential, as well as development prospects.
In the Lipetsk region, much attention is paid to the dairy industry: the volume of investment in this direction is growing every year. In 2022, 3.5 billion rubles were invested, in 2023 - 4.4 billion. In 2024 , it is planned to attract 8 billion rubles to the dairy industry of the region. Investments are aimed both at the construction of new livestock complexes and the modernization of existing ones, as well as at increasing production volumes and purchasing equipment. Also, agricultural producers engaged in milk production received state support in various areas. Thus, subsidies for milk sold in 2023 exceeded 235 million rubles. This is 34.2% more than a year earlier.
In 2024, all state support measures for the dairy sector will remain in place. Moreover, from this year, an increasing coefficient is provided to reimburse capital costs for the implementation of investment projects in dairy farming. It applies to regions that are steadily increasing milk production and have a strong feed base. From September 1, it will be mandatory to check the material imported into the country to ensure that animals do not have genetic diseases. New requirements are aimed at increasing genetic potential.
