Orchards in the Lipetsk region have already harvested 60,000 tons of apples.

The APPLE harvest is nearing completion.
Thirteen specialized horticultural farms in the region, located in nine districts, have already harvested 60,000 tons of apples.
In total, over 80 varieties of apples are grown in the region, including four organic varieties. More than 90% of the region's total commercial apple production comes from two of the largest horticultural farms in the Lebedyansky District.
"Our Lebedyan apples were extremely popular at the recent Golden Autumn agro-industrial exhibition in Moscow," saidEkaterina Markova, Minister of Agriculture of the Lipetsk Region, said: "Visitors were attracted not only by the appearance of the fruits, but also by their taste. And although the May frosts affected this year's apple harvest, the quality of the fruit is very good. And we expect a decent gross harvest."
Farms of all categories plan to harvest over 75,000 tons of apples in 2025.
