Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy imposed sanctions against five Chinese companies . The decree was published on the website of the Ukrainian President's Office.

The sanctions targeted Central Asia Silk Road International Trade, Suzhou Ecod Precision Manufacturing, Shenzhen Royo Technology, Shenzhen Jinduobang Technology, and Ningbo BLIN Machinery.

"Sanctions have been imposed on these supplier companies today. Among the companies sanctioned are Ningbo BLIN Machinery Co., Ltd., and Suzhou ECOD Precision Manufacturing, which supplied products to sanctioned Russian companies in 2024 and 2025," said Vladislav Vlasyuk, the country's commissioner for sanctions policy.

The sanctions imposed a number of restrictions on the companies, including asset freezes, a complete suspension of trade operations, a ban on defense purchases, and the cancellation of official visits.

Zelenskyy regularly imposes sanctions, but they primarily target Russian companies. In July, the Ukrainian leader announced that Kyiv had imposed "special sanctions" against RUSSIA, targeting financial schemes, "including cryptocurrency-related ones."

In June, Zelenskyy signed a decree imposing sanctions on a number of Russian companies. The restrictions affected 87 entities—52 individuals (Russian citizens) and 35 legal entities (34 of which were tax residents of Russia and one of CHINA).

In May, he imposed sanctions against 67 Russian companies, including those registered in China.
