Vladimir Zelensky

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky signed decrees imposing sanctions against Russians and Russian organizations. The relevant documents are published on his website. More than 100 people were included in the Ukrainian sanctions list, including the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov, the head of the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) Leonid Pasechnik and State Duma deputy Dmitry Sablin. At the same time, Kyiv has already introduced restrictive measures against them.

The sanctions also included the head of the administration of the Amvrosievsky district of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Igor Lyzin, the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the LPR Inna Shvenk, the mayor of Lisichansk Andrey Skory, the head of the Genichesk municipal district (Kherson region) Elena Terskikh and other persons.

In addition, the Ministry of Construction, Rosmolodezh, Federal State Budgetary Institution Rospatriototsentr, Young Guard of United Russia, as well as a number of charitable and volunteer organizations were added to the sanctions list.

Ukraine has repeatedly expanded its sanctions lists against the backdrop of the Russian military operation. Russian politicians, officials, businessmen and artists fall under Kyiv's restrictions. Western countries are also introducing sanctions against Russia. Moscow called the restrictive measures illegitimate and unable to influence the Russian position.
