Japan has imposed EXPORT sanctions against 80 Russian organizations, in particular MegaFon, the Skolkovo Foundation and Skoltech (Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology), NPO. The list of companies subject to restrictions also includes:

Japan also added 17 individuals to the sanctions list. Yan Novikov, general DIRECTOR of the Almaz-Antey aerospace defense concern, as well as Mikhail Teplinskiy, commander of the Russian Airborne Forces, Sergei Karakaev, commander of the Strategic Missile Forces, Nikolai Parshin, HEAD of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, and lieutenant general and chief of staff, were subject to personal restrictions.
