Japan imposed sanctions against the head of Almaz-Antey and the military command

Under sanctionsTokyo was hit by the commanders of the Airborne Forces and Missile Forces, officials from the LPR and DPR, and aircraft factories. EXPORT restrictions have been imposed against KamAZ and dozens of organizations.

Japan has expanded sanctions against RUSSIA due to hostilities in Ukraine , adding 17 individuals and 78 organizations to the list, according to the website of the country's Foreign Ministry. Yan Novikov, the general DIRECTOR of the Almaz-Antey aerospace defense concern, was also subject to personal restrictions.

The sanctions list includes members of the country's military command, among them:

Chief of Staff of the Russian group of troops (forces) "West" Lieutenant General Mikhail Zusko; Commander of the Russian Airborne Forces Mikhail Teplinskiy; Commander of the 90th Guards Tank Division Ramil Ibatullin; Commander of the Strategic Missile Forces Sergei Karakaev.

Under the restrictions were Anton Elizarov, whom the Japanese government calls the commander of the divisions of the private military company Wagner, the commander of the Sparta battalion Artem Zhoga, officials and prosecutors from the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions and Sevastopol, as well as the host of the 60 Minutes program on the TV channel "Russia 1" Olga Skabeeva.

The list of organizations whose assets will be frozen if detected includes the Central Research Institute Elektropribor and Burevestnik, JSC Enix, aircraft factories Ural, Sokol, Irkutsk and others.

In addition, Tokyo imposed export restrictions against 80 organizations. Among them are the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSVTS), the Advanced Research Foundation, KamAZ, the Lavochkin NPO, MegaFon, the Skolkovo Foundation and the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech).

In addition, Tokyo banned the provision of construction and engineering services to Moscow and the export of goods "contributing to the strengthening of the industrial base of Russia" (their list is not yet given).

Japan announced the expansion of sanctions after the G7 summit, which was held in Hiroshima on May 19-21. New restrictions against Russia have also been introduced by the United States , Great Britain , CANADA , and Australia . Moscow considers these measures illegal. In February , Vladimir Putin said that “the Russian economy and governance system turned out to be much stronger than the West believed,” and the restrictions ultimately negatively affected those countries that introduced them.
