Hungary says it does not intend to block EU sanctions against Russia

Hungary is not going to block EU sanctions against RUSSIA, including those related to disconnection from SWIFT. This was stated by the representative of the press service of the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban Zoltan Kovacs.

“Now they lie that Hungary is blocking part of the sanctions against Russia, for example, in connection with the SWIFT system. Let’s make a reservation right away: THIS IS NOT TRUE! ”He wrote (spelling saved).

Kovacs added that Hungary had never blocked the sanctions proposed against Russia.

Earlier, REUTERS reported that there was no unity in the EU regarding anti-Russian sanctions. Thus, EU countries such as Austria, Hungary and Italy would prefer to see a restrained response to Russia's actions.
