The Foreign Ministry said that the threats of Western sanctions do not apply to real politics

Threats to impose new sanctions from the West do not belong to the sphere of real politics, said Deputy Russian Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko, TASS reports.

“They can come up with any sanctions, but all this does not belong to the category of real politics,” the deputy minister said.

According to Grushko, Russia's "aggression" against Ukraine takes place only in the "inflamed minds" of Western partners.

In January , the United States and Western countries repeatedly warned of tough sanctions in cases of Russia's "invasion" of Ukraine. US President Joe Biden promised that he would be the first to face sanctions that his colleague Vladimir Putin has "never seen." The Kremlin has repeatedly stressed that Moscow has no plans to attack Ukraine.
