The Lithuanian authorities have banned real estate transactions in Palanga, owned by the family of the ex-head of Aeroflot Mikhail Poluboyarinov, who fell under the sanctions of the European Union, the Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT) reported.

According to LRT, the Poluboyarinov family owns two apartments of 80 and 60 square meters. m in a residential building a few hundred meters from the coast of Palanga. According to experts' estimates given in the note, the total value of this property is at least €500,000.

Poluboyarinov rents a plot of land in Palanga, and his wife and son manage real estate on it, Mindaugas Petrauskas, deputy head of the Lithuanian Financial Crime Investigation Service, told LRT.

According to him, after collecting all the data, the service turned to the Lithuanian real estate registration center, which is also responsible for compliance with EU sanctions. On March 29, the LTR registration center reported that a special note had been entered into the register prohibiting any transactions with Poluboyarinov's land and his family's real estate.
