The Kremlin advocated protecting the interests of Russians who fell under the sanctions

Sanctions against Russians are illegal and the interests of those subjected to them must be protected. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of RUSSIA Dmitry Peskov, RIA Novosti reports.

«В целом, безусловно, мы считаем эти санкции абсолютно незаконными, и конечно, если говорить в целом о защите интересов россиян, то эта защита должна быть», — сказал Песков.

Также Песков переадресовал вопрос о предложении Минфина по предоставлению гарантий валютных операций попавших под санкции в само ведомство. «Это нужно в Минфине спрашивать, какой-то позиции здесь нет», — сказал он.

We are talking about amendments developed by the Ministry of Finance, according to which citizens and companies that have fallen under sanctions will be provided with guarantees at the legislative level, in particular, for conducting operations through Russian banks. They are published on the portal of regulatory legal acts.
