The Kremlin warned about the response to London's pressure on Russian business

Russia will respond to sanctions against Russian businesses and the confiscation of the property of Russian businessmen if Britain takes such steps. This was stated to journalists by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, whose words are quoted by TASS. “The attack of one single country on Russian business, of course, implies retaliatory measures, and these measures will be formulated solely taking into account our own interests, based on our own interests, if necessary,” Peskov said.

The presidential press secretary said that threats to confiscate the property of businessmen speak of the unpredictability of the UK, and international financial and business structures should pay attention to them.

“This is a very disturbing statement from London, which I think is disturbing not only for us, for our companies.
