In Belarus, the Social Protection Fund, from which money is taken for pensions and benefits, is still experiencing a shortage of funds. According to the Ministry of Finance, in January-July, revenues to the fund amounted to 6.764 billion rubles, and expenses - 260.5 million rubles more.


At the same time, it is planned that the income of the Social Security Fund at the end of this year will exceed the costs by 270 million 169.7 thousand rubles.

Recall that at the beginning of the year a decent hole formed in the Social Protection Fund of Belarus - more than 150 million dollars. According to the Ministry of Finance, in January-April, revenues to the Social Security Fund amounted to 3.749 billion rubles, and the fund's expenses amounted to 4.050 billion, that is, the deficit amounted to 301.1 million rubles. Receipts to the Social Protection Fund in January-April decreased by 62.1 million rubles (or 1.6%) compared to the same period of the previous year.

Last year, the Social Protection Fund lost almost 1.5 billion rubles from mandatory insurance contributions, so we had to increase transfers from the budget.

“Most likely, in 2017 we will also get problems in terms of subventions from the republican budget, because the fund’s revenue is growing due to the growth of the wage fund and the growth of those employed in the economy,” Minister of Labor and Social Protection Irina Kostevich said in June . - You know what the task is, what level of wages should be provided on average across the country. But here it is also necessary to ensure the growth of the wage fund, and not just its increase by optimizing the headcount.

The Ministry of Labor told what is the amount of arrears in paying contributions to the Social Security Fund.

— The amount of debt for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs on payments to the budget of the state off-budget fund for social protection of the population as of July 1 amounted to 96.2 million rubles, or 0.7% of the income plan for 2017, — said Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection Valery Kovalkov during an online conference on pensions.

The specialist said that legal entities owed 34.9 million rubles, individual entrepreneurs - 36.2 million rubles, organizations in the stage of liquidation and bankruptcy - 23.6 million rubles, legal entities that received state support by presidential decrees (in the form of a deferment (installment plan) for mandatory payments to the budget of the fund), - 1.5 million rubles.

— The fund's budget for the first half of 2017 was executed with a surplus in the amount of 110.5 million rubles. The balance of the fund's budget is ensured by subventions from the republican budget, Valery Kovalkov specified. — Financing of the payment of pensions and benefits is carried out in a timely manner and in full. This issue is under constant review.
