Three companies from Russia came under secondary US sanctions due to Iran

The US Treasury Department has imposed secondary sanctions on three Russian companies, alleging ties to Iran. A message about updating the sanctions list was published on the department’s website.

The US Treasury restrictions include:

LLC "Technical Service Center "Delta-Aero" (registered in Moscow), OJSC "Research and Production Enterprise "Aerosila" (registered in Stupino, Moscow Region), JSC "ODK-STAR" (Perm).

According to the Ministry of Finance, Russian companies cooperate with the Iranian state aircraft manufacturing corporation Iran Aircraft Manufacturing Industries Corporation (HESA), which also produces Shahed drones. All property and assets of Russian legal entities that are “located in the United States, as well as in the possession or control of US citizens,” will be blocked by the American authorities .

Aerosila produces propellers and propfans, auxiliary gas turbine engines for airplanes and helicopters, as well as other parts for hovercraft, ekranoplanes and ekranoplanes.

Among the activities that Delta-Aero is engaged in are repair and maintenance of aircraft, wholesale trade in electrical equipment and other activities related to air transport.

"ODK-STAR" produces electronic-hydromechanical automatic control systems for aircraft engines, helicopters and gas turbine equipment. The company is part of the United Engine Corporation of the Rostec state corporation.
