German authorities recommend abandoning Kaspersky anti-virus Technology and media
In September 2017, the US authorities ordered the country's state institutions to refuse products and services of Kaspersky Lab within three months. The Ministry of Security then reported that they were concerned about the connections of some representatives of Kaspersky Lab with Russian intelligence and other government agencies, as well as Russian legislation, which would allow special services to request and even force the company to provide information of interest to them.
In December of the same year, the British ministries were also banned from using Kaspersky Lab's antivirus. This happened after the British intelligence services suspected the company of spying for the FSB.
