The Speaker of the Rada appealed to the US Congress because of the Nord Stream 2

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmitry Razumkov appealed to the US Congress with a request to continue the policy of sanctions against Nord Stream 2. The open letter was published on the website of the Parliament.

“I appeal to the US Congress with a request to consistently continue the policy of sanctions that would prevent the completion and commissioning of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline,” the letter says.

Razumkov also asked, if necessary, to consider the introduction of additional enhanced sanctions against legal entities and individuals involved in the construction of the gas pipeline.

The speaker of the Verkhovna Rada expressed his concern about the ongoing construction and possible commissioning of Nord Stream 2.
