Ukraine has imposed sanctions against Rossotrudnichestvo and ten other Russian companies and organizations, Ukrayinska Pravda and Strana.ua reported.
“11 Russian companies and organizations, including Rossotrudnichestvo, fell under the sanctions,” writes Ukrayinska Pravda, without specifying their names and reasons for imposing restrictions.
The press service of Rossotrudnichestvo told RBC that they had not yet received notifications of sanctions from Kyiv, but called Ukraine's actions expected "after the wave of indignation that was raised because of the Shevchenko Day."
“They didn’t like the facts, and facts are a stubborn thing: Taras Shevchenko is a Russian-Ukrainian poet. Well, the Ukrainian authorities have made their choice. Now the main thing for us is the safety of our employee in Kyiv. All further steps of Rossotrudnichestvo will be after we make sure that it is not located on the territory controlled by the Ukrainian regime, which manifests itself in a radical way, ”the press service of the department told RBC.
