
A group of Republican senators has come up with a new initiative that provides for the imposition of sanctions against the Nord Stream 2 project, REUTERS reported.
Such a proposal was sent by six lawmakers, led by Jim Rish, who chairs the US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. They proposed a corresponding amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for fiscal year 2022.
