RUSSIA has introduced enhanced laboratory control of MEAT products of several Belarusian enterprises. According to the press service of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR , the changes will come into force on December 18.

The decision was made due to the violation of norms and requirements by three enterprises of Belarus: Velgrad (remains of antibiotics were found in a semi-finished beef product), Lidakhleboprodukt (antibiotics in a broiler chicken carcass and in a chicken) and the Rogachev District Consumer Society (also remnants antibiotics in beef).

Earlier Rosselkhoznadzor discovered arsenic in shrimp from Vietnam. The prohibited substance was found in the ice cream product manufactured by Wokshop I Seaprodex during laboratory control. As a result, Russia banned the import of shrimp and crustaceans from this enterprise.
