Russia will limit the supply of meat from Brazilian enterprises

From June 9, Rosselkhoznadzor introduces restrictions on the supply of products from Brazil, the head of the service, Sergei Dankvert, said in an interview with RBC. According to him, we are talking about 31 enterprises, most of which are suppliers of meat and cheese.

The restriction was introduced in agreement with the Brazilian veterinary service, the head of the service said. 

On Wednesday, May 31, the service said that 160 tons of banned meat products from Brazil were found in the commercial seaport of Ust-Luga, which was transported in six containers. The products did not have permission to be imported into Russia, and there were also no import veterinary certificates.

Previously, this material contained information about a ban on supplies from 140 enterprises. Later, the department clarified the information.
